Role overview
We are hiring a DevOps engineer to own the delivery and operations layer across multiple Arctrait engagements. You will be the calm voice in the room when releases break and the engineer who makes sure they break less often over time.
What you will own
- CI/CD pipelines. Build and maintain reliable build, test, and deploy pipelines for web, mobile, and backend services.
- Infrastructure as Code. Own Terraform / Pulumi modules for cloud resources, networks, and secrets.
- Observability. Stand up logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting that engineers actually trust and use.
- Incident response. Run post-incident reviews, build runbooks, and shrink mean-time-to-recovery quarter over quarter.
- Cost and security. Tag, monitor, and right-size resources; partner with engineering on least-privilege access and secret hygiene.
What we look for
- 3+ years of DevOps / SRE experience supporting production systems for real users.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and at least one major cloud (AWS preferred).
- Strong fluency with Terraform or another IaC tool. Bash and one scripting language (Python or Go) at a working level.
- Comfortable with Linux internals, networking basics, and certificate management.
- Track record of implementing observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
