Business Developer (Email Marketer)
Run targeted outbound email campaigns that open conversations with the right buyers. Own list quality, copy, deliverability, and the handoff to sales.
Role overview
We are hiring a business developer focused on outbound email. You will own the end-to-end loop of researching ICP segments, writing copy that does not feel like spam, and getting real replies from real buyers.
What you will own
- List building. Source and qualify ICP lists using Apollo, Sales Navigator, Clay, or similar tools. Keep enrichment and segmentation tight.
- Copy. Write short, specific, human cold-email sequences. Iterate based on reply data, not vibes.
- Deliverability. Own SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up, sending domains, and inbox placement. Treat deliverability as a discipline, not a setting.
- Sequencing. Build and run multi-step sequences in tools like Lemlist, Instantly, or Smartlead. A/B test subject lines, openers, and CTAs.
- Handoff. Qualify replies and hand warm leads to the sales / delivery lead with full context.
- Reporting. Track open, reply, positive-reply, meeting-set, and pipeline-influenced metrics weekly.
What we look for
- 2+ years running outbound email programs that produced real meetings and pipeline.
- Strong fundamentals on deliverability, domain warmup, and list hygiene.
- Sharp writing: you can take a service page and turn it into 6 lines that earn a reply.
- Tool fluency with at least one of Lemlist, Instantly, Smartlead, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar.
- Analytical mindset: you instrument, segment, and iterate before scaling.
